LEO Europa Forum (LEF) is the yearly LEO convention of European LEOs. Next to the European countries, Egypt, Tunisia and some other Mediterranean countries are joining the forum and Lately LEOs from Nepal are joining our LEF too.
So what is LEF all about? Basically, the program consists of serious and fun workshops, a social activity, sightseeing trips, a culinary presentation of countries and, of course, a glamorous gala night. LEF is also the venue of the yearly meeting of International Liaison Officers (ILOs) from Europe and the Mediterranean countries.
LEF is a great opportunity to mingle with Leos from other countries, meet old and new friends and learn from each others experience. If you want to find out more about previous LEFs, please check the Event Reports 2.0.
It will be a wonderful week in a medieval renaissance area of Hungary. During this week we will go on sightseeing trips to Budapest and Visegrád, have workshops, presentation of countries and a social activity with which we can help those who are in need!
The LEF also gives place to the yearly face-to-face meeting of International Liaison Officers (ILOs) from Europe and the Mediterranean countries.
Join us in this incredible journey! It will be an #hunforgettable experience!

Leo Europa Forum History
Leo Europa Forum started with European Leos who organized a few get-togethers in the early 1970’s. The first noted meeting was in France in 1971, which was followed by meeting in Finland in 1972. Then Leos visited the Lions Europa Forum in Berlin in 1974. The first official Leo Europa Forum took place in Vienna in 1976 and hereafter was organized every summer in a different European country. English is the official language of the Forum.
Leo Europa Pre Forum
In addition to LEF which takes place in the summer, there is the so-called Pre-Forum at the beginning of the year. At this weekend, the orga team presents the hotel location and preliminary program to the delegation leaders of the participating countries. Next to the delegation leader meeting, the International Liaison Officers come together for a meeting as well.
